Spreading Joy

Originally from Périgueux in Dordogne, Raphael Laventure, born in 1986, has lived since 2014 on the island of Ibiza (Balearic Islands).
Emotion is the main attribute found in each of his works, including the notion of "happiness" which has become over the years the central point of his artistic research, both pictorial and sculptural. Creator of the movement "BORN TO BE HAPPY ®", his creations are like a heartfelt appeal , a call to the whole wide world to be happy without restriction.

Raphael grew up in a creative family environment, his mother who loved to paint nourished the imagination of the artist during his youth. As a child, he admires the splendid antique statues, both Hellenistic and Roman, lost in the drapes of an Athena or the angelic features of a Venus, who inspire his work today, the female figure being his favorite subject.

    Parmi nous, il y a ceux qui croient en leurs rêves et déplaceraient des montagnes pour atteindre les grandes pyramides d’Égypte, et il y a ceux qui courbent l’échine face aux obstacles, aux blessures que leur inflige la vie. C’est bien à tout le monde sans exception, sans barrière, ni frontière que Raphaël Laventure s’adresse avec son message universel “ BORN TO BE HAPPY ® ”.
    Écouter notre âme d’enfant qui nous murmure que nous pouvons dévorer le monde et toucher nos chimères du bout des doigts si nous osons sauter le pas. Sentir en nous cette étoile qui ne s’éteint jamais et brille inlassablement, la volonté inéluctable de penser que même dans la tempête le soleil finira par réapparaître.
    Raphaël Laventure s’affirme ainsi comme l'artiste du bonheur, en plaçant l’émotion pure au centre de sa recherche artistique.

  • Raphaël Laventure
    and the House of Champagne GARDET

    The House of Champagne GARDET and Raphaël Laventure created a unique collection around three vintages of the GARDET range. The piece "Happy" for the Premier Cru, "Wahou" for the Rosé, and "Sensuality" for the Blanc de Blancs.

    This trilogy is marketed in traditional networks in France and over the World since July 2017. A few months after the official release, the GARDET-LAVENTURE Collection won the Champagne Trophy for "Packaging of the year 2017"!
